Information to support your decisions

GigReviewer helps you research opportunities. We do not provide third-party work or payouts.

Results depend on your circumstances

Eligibility, available work, approval, time, and expenses affect what you earn.

External services have their own rules

Applications, purchases, and linked apps are subject to the relevant provider’s terms.

1. Operator and scope

GigReviewer.com is operated by Stratus Analytics LLC. “GigReviewer,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Stratus Analytics LLC in connection with this website and the GigReviewer newsletter.

These Terms apply to your use of GigReviewer.com and the content and resources we make available through it. By using the website, you agree to these Terms to the extent they form an enforceable agreement under applicable law. If you do not agree, discontinue using the website.

GigReviewer is intended for adults. Newsletter subscriptions and requests for our resources are intended for people age 18 or older. Each external platform has its own age and eligibility requirements.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information. Separate terms may apply to externally hosted apps, retailers, or other Stratus Analytics LLC services.

2. What GigReviewer provides

We publish platform reviews, category directories, comparisons, guides, and articles about gig work, research participation, usability testing, AI work, microtasks, cashback, and related topics.

We also provide a newsletter, promote Click Work resources, and link to tools that help readers organize their activities.

GigReviewer does not operate the third-party gig platforms we cover. We do not hire their workers, approve applications, assign work, administer participant accounts, or process their payouts.

A listing or recommendation is an invitation to investigate an opportunity. It does not establish that applications are open, that you qualify, or that paid work will be available.

3. Reviews, evidence, and accuracy

Our coverage may draw on firsthand experience, official documentation, and participant reports. Those sources provide different kinds of evidence. Do not assume every featured platform has been personally tested or every payment independently verified.

Editorial opinions and recommendations reflect the assessment presented in the relevant article. Rankings, shortlists, and comparison frameworks are not guarantees of performance.

Platform rules, rates, recruitment, payment methods, and availability can change. Check the current official terms before applying, accepting work, providing information, or making a purchase.

We aim to keep information useful and accurate, but cannot promise that every page is complete or current at all times. Contact us if you find an error or a materially outdated statement.

4. Earnings and results

Earnings figures, examples, goals, and personal experiences do not establish what you will earn. Examples may illustrate a calculation or routine rather than describe a typical participant result.

Your results depend on factors including location, qualifications, demographics, equipment, available assignments, screening, approval, expenses, and the time you invest.

An advertised hourly rate does not guarantee assigned hours or ongoing work. An approved account does not guarantee assignments, and a submitted task is not the same as an approved payment.

Include applications, screening, setup, checking for work, and relevant expenses when evaluating your return. Track payments received separately from pending rewards and cashback savings.

GigReviewer does not guarantee employment, acceptance, payouts, a particular income, or replacement of a full-time salary.

5. General information, not individualized advice

Our content is general information about gig work and related topics. It is not individualized legal, tax, financial, investment, or employment advice.

Reading an article, downloading a resource, or subscribing does not create a professional advisory, fiduciary, or employment relationship.

You are responsible for evaluating opportunities and meeting applicable tax, reporting, licensing, and other obligations. Seek qualified advice when a decision requires an assessment of your specific circumstances.

7. External platforms, purchases, and apps

Following an external link takes you to a service governed by its own terms and privacy practices. Review those requirements before registering, sharing personal information, or paying for a product or service.

Questions about a gig platform’s application, assignment, account suspension, payment, or support process should be directed to that platform. GigReviewer cannot resolve those matters on its behalf.

Retail purchases

Purchases through Amazon or another external retailer are governed by that retailer’s checkout, delivery, cancellation, and refund terms. A link from GigReviewer does not make us the retailer handling the transaction.

Linked tools

Externally hosted tools, including the Click Work Tracker, may have separate account and service terms. These website Terms do not promise app availability, data recovery, automatic imports, or any particular app feature.

8. Newsletter and downloadable resources

The GigReviewer newsletter is delivered through Kit. Subscribe using an email address you control and complete any confirmation steps described in the signup process.

Submitting another person’s email address without permission is prohibited. Do not use signup forms to send unwanted messages or create abusive subscriptions.

Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link. Our Privacy Policy explains subscription information and related processing.

Free-book and resource offers are subject to the description shown at signup. Access may require email confirmation and suitable software to open the file. Delivery can be affected by spam filtering, provider outages, or an incorrectly entered address.

Newsletter frequency may vary. We may update or discontinue future issues and resource offers, subject to applicable obligations. A free subscription does not promise a permanent publishing schedule.

Unless a resource states otherwise, downloads are provided for your own use. You may not resell them, redistribute complete copies publicly, or remove attribution without permission, except as permitted by applicable law.

9. Content and permitted use

Original GigReviewer content and brand materials are owned by Stratus Analytics LLC or the relevant rights holder. Other material may be used under licenses or other lawful permissions.

You may read our content, use it to inform your own decisions, and share links to our pages. You may make personal copies of resources where permitted by the resource’s terms.

You may not republish substantial portions, sell copies, or present our content as your own without permission. Nothing in these Terms limits quotation, fair use, or other rights provided by law.

Do not imply an endorsement or business relationship with GigReviewer that does not exist. Contact us about reuse permissions or a suspected infringement, identifying the material and the relevant rights.

10. Comments and submissions

Where comments are enabled, you remain responsible for what you submit. Share genuine experiences and clearly distinguish your opinion from factual claims.

Do not submit unlawful threats, harassment, spam, impersonation, malicious links, private information about others, or material you lack permission to share.

You retain ownership of your submissions. By posting a public comment, you grant us a nonexclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and format it as reasonably necessary to operate and moderate the website.

This license does not transfer ownership of your work or authorize unrelated commercial use. Private correspondence is not permission to publish your message as a testimonial.

We may moderate or remove comments that violate these Terms or disrupt the discussion. Honest criticism is welcome and is not, by itself, a violation. Published comments represent their authors’ views.

11. Website conduct and security

Use the website lawfully and respect its security and the rights of others. You must not:

  • Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, administrative areas, or nonpublic information.
  • Introduce malware, exploit vulnerabilities, or deliberately disrupt website services.
  • Use forms or comments for spam, fraud, impersonation, or deceptive promotions.
  • Collect personal information about other users without a lawful basis.
  • Use automated requests in a way that overloads the website or bypasses access restrictions.

Ordinary search indexing and reasonable link sharing are not prohibited by this section. We may restrict abusive traffic and take appropriate action to protect the website.

Guidance about applications and assessments is not permission to misrepresent qualifications or violate a platform’s rules. Follow the instructions of the service providing the work.

12. Availability and changes

We may update, reorganize, suspend, or remove website content and features. Maintenance, hosting problems, security incidents, and external service interruptions can affect availability.

We do not promise uninterrupted access or that every linked resource will remain available. Restrictions or discontinuation remain subject to any applicable legal obligations.

13. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the website and its general informational content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, completeness, or suitability for a particular purpose.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Stratus Analytics LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the website, including lost opportunities, lost profits, or loss of data.

We do not assume responsibility for an independent third party’s applications, work assignments, account decisions, products, or payments merely because we publish information about that party.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or other conduct protected by mandatory law. Your nonwaivable consumer rights remain unaffected.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio and applicable United States federal law, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.

If a dispute arises, contact us with enough information to understand the issue. We encourage good-faith informal resolution, but doing so does not prevent you from exercising legal rights or seeking an available remedy.

Subject to mandatory consumer protections and jurisdictional requirements, disputes arising from these Terms may be brought in the appropriate state or federal courts in Ohio.

These Terms do not require binding arbitration or waive rights that applicable law makes nonwaivable.

15. Updates and interpretation

We may revise these Terms as the website, resources, or applicable requirements change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain agreement to a material change.

Changes apply prospectively, subject to applicable law. If you disagree with revised Terms, discontinue using the affected service.

If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. A failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not automatically waive it.
